New jointly produced trolleybus model will be presented at Russia and Belarus Forum

The Ufa Tram and Trolleybus Plant (JSC UTTZ) and OJSC Minsk Automobile Plant (JSC MAZ) are planning to present the prototype of a new trolleybus model assembled in Bashkortostan. The press service of the government of the Republic of Bashkortostan reported this.

The model will be presented at the X Forum of the Regions of Russia and Belarus, held in Ufa in June 2023. This became known during a meeting of industrial enterprises of the Republic of Bashkortostan with representatives of MAZ OJSC in Minsk, the Republic of Belarus.

The Republic of Bashkortostan is actively cooperating with OAO MAZ. There are licensed dealer and service centers - GUSP Bashselkhoztekhnika, Akros RB LLC, Evrodetalservis LLC, and URALMASH LLC. MAZ equipment is actively used in agriculture, housing and communal services.

The business delegation of the Republic of Bashkortostan began work in the Republic of Belarus on January 18. The program of the visit includes meetings and visits to several Belarusian enterprises. The delegation included 14 republican companies.

In addition, a meeting of delegates of the Republic of Bashkortostan with representatives of the Belarusian enterprise took place at the site of Belgospischeprom. The parties agreed to exchange information on state support measures and the deployment of a logistics complex on the territory of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

JSC "MAZ" - the managing company of the holding "BELAVTOMAZ" - an enterprise producing trucks, automobiles, passengers, specials, and trailers.

Under the MAZ brand, truck tractors, flatbed vehicles, and chassis for installing various special equipment are produced - more than 500 models and 3,000 vehicle modifications. Minsk Automobile Plant also produces more than 55 models of trailers.

OJSC “MAZ” structure includes 12 enterprises, and the number of employees reaches more than 21 thousand people. The commodity distribution network of the enterprise has over 160 entities with a service base.
