Sending goods by rail from Bashkiria decreased by 3.7% in 2022
According to the Kuibyshev Railway, freight trains sent 25.2 million tons of goods from Bashkiria in 2022, which is 3.7% less than in 2021. Given the enormous difficulties of the past year, the decline is not critical.
Over the year, the tonnage of building materials increased by 2.2% year-on-year (3.6 million tons), of which cement – increased by 5.5% more (390 thousand tons); metal products — +1.6% (103.3 thousand tons); sugar - by 23.2% more (83.8 thousand tons), cake - by 0.8% (292 thousand tons).
