Rosaviatsia starts selection of air carriers to provide subsidies for domestic flights
According to the decision of the government of the Russian Federation, Rosaviatsia is starting to select air carriers to provide subsidies to reimburse expenses for domestic flights from November 2022 - March 2023. This was reported on the website of the department.
The subsidies are intended to cover the costs of Russian airlines operating commercial flights from November 2022 to March 2023. Applications for participation in the selection are accepted from 12 to January 22, 2023. The winners will be determined by January 28, and by February 11, airlines will have to conclude an appropriate agreement with the Federal Air Transport Agency.
The subsidy will be transferred monthly or for several months at once. As part of this state support from the federal budget, Russian airlines will be provided with 25.3 billion rubles. Applications are accepted on the portal of financial state support measures.
