

Bashkiria exported more than 122,000 cubic meters of OSB and chipboard to China and Mongolia in 2022, the regional department of Rosselkhoznadzor reported.
Products of deep wood processing were shipped to these two countries by 62 container trains.
“More than 122,000 cubic meters of oriented strand board, particle board, MF-PB, OSB/3 ECO, PB Standard, and PB E-LE boards were certified for export to the People's Republic of China and Mongolia. Samples of products from the largest woodworking enterprises of Bashkiria have undergone laboratory examination before being sent to a foreign counterparty. According to the results of phytosanitary examinations, the department stressed that quarantine organisms were not identified, and all shipped products meet the phytosanitary requirements of the importing countries».
As Bashinform News Agency reported, in 2022, Bashkiria exported timber to 15 countries. Azerbaijan, Armenia, Afghanistan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, China, Latvia, Lithuania, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Estonia, and the Czech Republic are among the main contractors for the products of the timber industry complex of the republic.
