The next stage of the reconstruction of the Birsk-Tastuba-Satka road has been completed in Bashkiria, the Ministry of Transport and Roads of the Republic of Bashkortostan reported. A section with more than 20 km length was put into operation.
About 1.2 billion rubles were allocated for this facility, of which 920 million rubles came from the federal budget as part of the Safe High-Quality Roads national project.
During the reconstruction, the highway was arranged, a barrier fence was installed, more than 100 road signs were installed, and markings were applied. In addition, construction and installation work included the construction of a subgrade, culverts, and local sewage pipes in places where water accumulated.
“Three bridges have been installed on this section, and a major overhaul of the bridge across the Kartya River has been carried out. There is also a place for passing animals across the road on their migration routes and specialized fences for about 8 km,” said Alexander Klebanov, head of the Ministry of Transport of Bashkiria.
Bashkortostan received more than 14 billion rubles to implement the national road project in 2022. This made it possible to reconstruct, overhaul and repair roads with a total length of more than 168 km and eight bridges.
