Agro-industrial complex state support amounted to more than 7 billion rubles this year

The total state support for the agro-industrial complex amounted to more than 7 billion rubles, including 4.3 billion rubles from the federal budget in 2022.

“We could maintain the volume of state support at last year’s level. The ongoing work in the industry contributed to a significant increase in agricultural production. For 11 months this year, it amounted to 129%,” Prime Minister Andrey Nazarov said at a meeting of the republic’s government.

The Prime Minister noted that within the state program for the development of agriculture in the republic, support is provided to animal husbandry, crop production, and food and processing industries. The technical and technological modernization of the agro-industrial complex is being carried out.

To increase the volume of food production from 2023, the processing of own milk has been assigned to the priority areas of support. It also expands the list of documents to clarify the status of recipients of subsidies, and new terms are introduced. In addition, the coefficients used to calculate rates depending on the fulfillment or non-compliance by the recipients of grants with the established conditions have been adjusted.

“These support areas for agricultural producers are key to ensuring the development and maintaining the required level of profitability. Next year, more than 1 billion 700 million rubles of state support are provided for these areas, including 1 billion 455 million rubles from the federal budget,” the Cabinet’s Head said.
