New generation gas compressor unit is being developed as part of import substitution

In the republic, as part of the import substitution program, they began to produce new generation gas compressor units. They are made based on aircraft engines at UMPO. The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, spoke about this in a large interview. According to him, a few years ago, the designers have already converted the AL-31ST engine into a gas-pumping unit. These turbines have already proved their efficiency at Gazprom's compressor stations. They replaced analogs produced in the USA, Europe, and Ukraine. Now engineers are working on a more robust and energy-intensive model of the new generation AL-41ST.

"We are working on a prototype AL-41ST. It will be ready in about a year. It will be a 20-megawatt device. An aircraft engine is a huge unit, the perfection of engineering," said Radiy Khabirov.

As another example, the head of the region cited a furniture cluster in Tuymazy. Radiy Khabirov noted that he was the first in Russia to be registered in the Russian Ministry of Industry register. The cluster brought together manufacturers of cabinets, upholstered furniture, and accessories for them.
