Russian Government allocated more than 3.7 billion rubles to researchers salaries increase
Over 3.7 billion rubles will be directed from the reserve fund of the Cabinet of Ministers to increase the wages of employees of federal state scientific institutions in addition to almost 5 billion rubles that were previously provided for these purposes. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed this order.
The decision was made considering the adjusted forecast indicators of the size and growth rate of the average wage in Russia to 11.6%. It will increase the salary of researchers up to 200% of the average wage in their region as part of the implementation of the May 2012 Presidential Decree "On measures to implement the state social policy."
"Next year, we will ensure a further increase in the payroll fund for specialists of public sector organizations to achieve the unconditional fulfillment of target indicators in terms of their salaries," Mikhail Mishustin said.
