Residential construction volume in 2022 increased by 1.1% compared to last year In Bashkiria

According to Bashkir Statistical Agency, for 11 months of 2022, more than 2.68 million sq. meters of housing. This is 101.1% compared to the same period in 2021. From January-November of this year, 33,000 apartments were built in the republic. 669 square meters of housing have been commissioned per one thousand inhabitants.

"Regarding housing construction, we are ahead of last year's pace. Our republic continues to occupy a leading position in the country regarding housing commissioning. Our task is to prepare the infrastructure for new sites for complex development," said Acting Minister of Construction and Architecture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Yegor Rodin.

In addition, in the structure of housing construction, the share of housing built by the population at their own expense and with the help of loans amounted to 67.9% (in January-November 2021 - 63.7%). They made 15,082 individual residential buildings with a total living area of 1,821.2 thousand square meters. This is 107.7% compared to the same period last year.

Among the republic's cities, Ufa is the leader in housing commissioning. Since January of this year, more than 930 thousand sq. meters of residential premises have been. This is 88.2% compared to last year's level. Individual buildings in Ufa amounted to 273 thousand square meters. In second place among urban districts is Sterlitamak, where 84.2 thousand square meters were built in 11, and 30.5 thousand square meters accounted for unique construction. The top three are closed by Oktyabrsky, where 76.5 thousand square meters were commissioned from January to November, including 49.8 thousand square meters – by private developers.

Among the municipal districts, the most significant number of housing was commissioned in the Ufimsky district - in 11 months of 2022, 278.7 thousand square meters were built and commissioned here. The top three in terms of housing construction are also Iglinsky and Abzelilovsky districts. In January-November of the current year, 125.5 thousand square meters were commissioned, and 85.9 thousand square meters of housing, respectively.
