Regional Industry Development Fund is waiting for additional capitalization

The Industry Development Fund of Bashkiria is waiting for additional capitalization in 2023, Alexander Sheldyaev, Minister of Industry, Energy, and Innovation of the Republic of Bashkortostan, said at a press conference at the Bashinform News Agency.

“During the operation of our Industrial Development Fund, we have always been in the top five regions. Capitalization today reaches 1.3 billion rubles. In 2023, taking into account federal co-financing, the financial support of the republic will increase by another 292 million rubles,” said Alexander Sheldyaev.

Recall that the Industry Development Fund of Bashkiria was established in 2017. It occupies a leading position in the system of regional funds. Last year alone, 36 investment projects implemented by manufacturing enterprises of Bashkiria received support. The total volume of investments in the republic’s industry additionally amounted to 9.4 billion rubles, of which the federal fund funds amounted to a record 4.66 billion rubles.

As Bashinform News Agency reported, the volume of shipped goods for the first ten months of 2022 reached 1.827 trillion rubles in Bashkiria. This is 6.8% more than in January-October 2021.

Industrial production in the region is also growing at 2.8%, which is ahead of the Russian average. In Russia, this figure is 100.1%, and in the Volga Federal District - 100.4%.
