Minimum wage will be 16,242 rubles per month from January 1, 2023

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law establishing a minimum wage (minimum wage) for 2023 for 16,242 rubles. The document is published on the official portal of legal information.

“Set the minimum wage on January 1, 2023, in the amount of 16,242 rubles per month,” follows from the document’s text. Thus, an increase of 6.3% is envisaged.

Recall that this year the minimum wage was raised twice: from January 1, it was increased to 13,890 rubles, and from June 1 to 15,279 rubles.

Considering the Ural coefficient, the minimum wage in Bashkiria is 17,571 rubles.
