Ufa will receive 35 new buses under Safe High-Quality Roads national project

Within the national project Safe High-Quality Roads, dozens of kilometers of roads are annually brought to the normal state in Ufa. Thanks to federal funding, it will be possible to significantly upgrade the public transport fleet.

The State Transport Leasing Company has signed a contract to supply 35 buses to Ufa under the Safe High-Quality Roads 2023 national project. The equipment will be delivered by the end of 2022, the press service of the company reports.

Recall that this year the Republic of Bashkortostan took part in the selection of constituent entities of the Russian Federation to carry out activities to upgrade the rolling stock of ground public passenger transport within the federal project Development of Public Transport of the national project Safe High-Quality Roads. Based on the results, the expert commission approved the provision of benefits to the carrier for the purchase in 2023-2024 of 85 large-class buses running on gas engine fuel to serve city routes. The selected carrier will receive the first batch of new buses - State Unitary Enterprise Bashavtotrans.
