At International Business Week in Ufa, issues of interaction in promoting industrial cooperation between enterprises of Bashkortostan and Belarus were discussed. As Artur Karpovich, head of the Belarusian embassy in the Ufa branch, noted, Belarusian exports to Bashkiria increased by more than 30% over the ten months of this year.
According to Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy of Bashkortostan Rustam Muratov, the industry is one of the leading areas of cooperation.
Bashkortostan pays special attention to building cooperative ties. Joint work is carried out within the framework of industrial cooperation with many enterprises of the union state. Collaboration with OAO Mogilevliftmash is being worked out. Shortly, the production of elevators will be launched in Bashkortostan.
It is worth noting the cooperation with the Belarusian enterprises of the plant "Avtonormal" (JSC "BelZAN"), which is located in Belebey. The plant plans to increase the supply of products to Belarusian enterprises by 77% next year. Timur Galiakhmetov, director for technical development of the plant, announced this. Recall that BelZAN JSC produces spring fasteners, mainly for the automotive industry.
A lot of joint work is underway to implement major investment projects for the production of equipment for post-harvest processing of grain and to create a production and service center of the largest machine-building holding Amkador in Bashkiria for a total of 2.5 billion rubles. The construction of the facilities is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2023.
The republic retained state support to subsidize the cost of purchasing new agricultural machinery assembled in the region. First of all, we are talking about Belarusian technology. New machine-building productions also have good prospects.
Now we can observe good results of the work of the representative offices. These are major investment projects and an increase in foreign trade turnover through the organization of joint business missions, exhibitions, and business contacts.
In 2022, it will be five years since the signing of the Memorandum of Twinning between Ufa and Minsk. Next year, the capital of Bashkortostan will host the 10th Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia, within which it is proposed to hold the Forum of Sister Cities of Belarus and Russia and an exhibition of achievements of the national economy. The Twin Cities Mayors Forum will become a universal platform for exchanging experiences and discussing topical issues in urban development.
