Trade turnover between Bashkiria and Turkey increased by 42%

The trade turnover of Bashkortostan with the Republic of Turkey in January-September 2022 increased by 41.7%, the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations of the Republic of Bashkortostan reported. Export increased by 38.8%, and import - by 64.3%.

In the total volume of trade turnover of Bashkiria among 113 trading partner countries, Turkey is in 6th place.

"Representative of the region Marat Tansykkuzhin works in Turkey in the status of an employee at the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation. With his assistance, several investment projects were attracted to the republic for a total amount of about 2.5 billion rubles. First of all, these are two investment projects of the Sanica Pipe Company to organize the production of plastic pipes and heating batteries in the territories of the Ufimsky industrial park and the Alga SEZ," said the Minister of Foreign Economic Relations of the Republic of Bashkortostan Margarita Bolycheva.

Bashkortostan ranks 5th among the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in terms of direct investment from Turkey. The chairman of the Russian-Turkish Dialogue Association, Maria Suvorovskaya, announced this. As part of International Business Week 2022, she will participate in the "Bashkortostan - Turkey: Industrial Dialogue in the New Reality" section.

There are many possibilities for the development of interaction between the parties - the exchange of experience and the promotion of the best cases, the opening of joint ventures, and the placement of information about manufacturers of Bashkiria on Turkish marketplaces. From 14 to 16 December, Ufa will host International Business Week.
