Vladimir Putin instructed to index state employees’ salaries in January 2023
Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with the government, instructed to index state employees’ salaries in January 2023.
“In January next year, it is necessary to index state employees’ salaries,” RIA Novosti reports him as saying.
The President noted that so far only ten regions are meeting the target indicators for salaries of state employees, but even then not one hundred percent. According to him, the regions in need of assistance should be provided with finance.
Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that in 2023 the wages of public sector employees would increase by more than 8%. This and other social indicators are included in the federal budget for 2023–2025.
