Recruitment subsidy program was extended by government until December 2023

The recruitment subsidy program, under which employers receive state support for the employment of citizens, will be in effect throughout 2023. The decision was signed today by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

We are talking about the employment of the unemployed, who were fired due to the liquidation of the enterprise or downsizing. The program also covers those citizens who were transferred to a permanent job with another employer, but are now at risk of dismissal, including those sent on unpaid leave, or transferred to a part-time job.

In addition, according to the government website, employers receive state support for the employment of young people under the age of 30, including those without work experience and graduates.

Recall that the subsidy that employers receive is equal to three minimum wages, increased by the district coefficient, the insurance premiums amount, and the number of employed. The employer gets the first payment one month after the applicant's employment, the second - three months later, and the third - six months later.

The recruitment subsidy program was launched in March 2021 and was due to run until the end of 2022. The issue of its extension was discussed at a government meeting on November 29. As Mikhail Mishustin noted, federal support will allow many people to find work faster.
