According to the results of 10 months of 2022, the number of people employed in small and medium-sized businesses amounted to 562.1 thousand people, which is 9.5% higher than in 2021. This became possible thanks to the existing tools to support entrepreneurs, the press service of the government of Bashkiria reports.
The budget of Bashkiria received 13.1 billion rubles of taxes from SMEs in 2022, which is 19.4% more than in 2021. Today, 393 SMEs in the republic are recognized as social, their number has increased by 16.3% since the beginning of the year. In terms of the number of social entrepreneurs, Bashkiria ranks second in the Russian Federation after the Moscow Region. 138 social entrepreneurs this year received grants from 100 to 500 thousand rubles to support their activities.
A decision was made to provide financial support measures in the form of grants to young entrepreneurs in 2022. This year, 133 grants were provided to young entrepreneurs of the republic for a total of 63.1 million rubles. At the end of the year, the republic ranked first in Russia in terms of funds allocated from the federal budget to support social and youth entrepreneurship.
An effective tool for supporting entrepreneurial initiatives is the institution of business sheriffs. Currently, 898 projects are at the implementation stage. About 8.1 thousand new jobs have been created. The total cost of the projects is 29.6 billion rubles.
