Bashkir products were sold out at the annual charity fair in Geneva, republican Minister of Foreign Economic Relations Margarita Bolycheva posted on her VKontakte page.
As the minister said, for 46 years the UN Geneva Association has been organizing a charity fair with the participation of most of the UN member countries, where each country prepares two stands with traditional national souvenirs and cuisine. Thus, last year the Russian mission to the UN won the first prize for the best national stand.
“This year, we sent chak-chak, honey, non-alcoholic balm, bowls, and matryoshkas from the republic. The collected funds go to the implementation of charitable projects to help needy children around the world,” explained Margarita Bolycheva.
