Yekaterinburg hosted the VI All-Russian Strategic Development Forum "Cities of Russia 2030: Challenges and Actions". It addressed topical issues of urban planning and the sustainable functioning of the economy of the new reality.
The capital of Bashkiria was represented at the forum by Damir Galiullin, deputy head of the Ufa administration. He spoke about Ufa's experience in participating in the federal program Business Sprint (I choose sport). The city was able to attract 15% of the program's total federal funding nationwide. Three applications for the construction of sports complexes with a total cost of 614 million rubles were approved.
The construction phase will take about two years, and Ufa will receive three new sports facilities for its 450th anniversary in 2024, Damir Galiullin said.
