Bashkiria presented its products in Minsk

The annual international specialized exhibition ProdExpo-2022 has started its work in the capital of Belarus. The event is attended by a delegation of Bashkiria led by Deputy Prime Minister of the Government - Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Ilshat Fazrakhmanov. Republican food producers have designed a stand, which presents honey and alcohol products, cosmetics, teas, and meat delicacies. This was reported by the press service of the republican government.

Bashkiria’s stand is a great success at the exhibition. It was visited by the Minister of Agriculture of Belarus Igor Brylo. Negotiations with representatives of Belarusian companies are being held here. Visitors are happy to try and buy Bashkir kumis, honey, and meat delicacies. Dried sublimated mare's milk aroused great interest among representatives of Belarusian and foreign companies. About 200 largest food producers and trade representatives of Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, and European countries take part in the exhibition. Representatives of Bashkiria plan not only to strengthen mutual ties but also to find new areas for further cooperation.

Recall that in 2021, Belarus ranks 3rd in the foreign trade turnover of Bashkiria with a share of 6.3%. Mutual trade turnover for the same period amounted to $292 million, which is 2.5% higher than in 2020. As previously reported by Bashinform News Agency, the republic intends to increase the volume of trade with Belarus to $1 billion a year.
