Grain transportation by rail doubled in Bashkiria
About 2.2 million tons of various cargoes were loaded at the railway stations of Bashkiria in October 2022, which is 1% more than in October 2021. In particular, the following were loaded in October: construction cargo - 345.5 thousand tons (+ 33.3% compared to October 2021); chemical and mineral fertilizers – 64 thousand tons (+13%); non-ferrous ore and sulfur raw materials - 53 thousand tons (+9.2%); grain - 43 thousand tons (an increase of 2 times). The latter indicator is associated with a record grain harvest in the republic.
In total, about 21 million tons of various cargoes were loaded at the railway stations of Bashkiria in January-October 2022, which is 2.3% less than in the same period in 2021.
