Commodity sector volume grew by 22.5% over nine months in Bashkiria

According to the results of nine months of this year, the industrial growth index of Bashkiria amounted to 103.1%, exceeding the average for Russia (100.4%) and the Volga Federal District (100.6%). The main driver of growth was the development of three sectors of industrial production: raw materials - 122.5%, manufacturing - 100.6%, and energy - 101.1%.

The growing positive dynamics in a difficult time for the country are associated with the active participation of the region in federal programs to support the economy and serious initiatives developed on the ground, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic - Minister of Industry, Energy and Innovation Alexander Sheldyaev said.

“Today, 9 measures to support industry are being implemented in the republic for a total amount of more than 1.5 billion rubles. A significant part of state support is provided through the Industry Development Fund of the Republic of Bashkortostan. 26 enterprises additionally received grants totaling 129 million rubles. This money made it possible to provide targeted assistance,” Alexander Sheldyaev explained.

The growth of republican leaders is pharmaceutical products manufacturers (growth by 27.2%), electrical equipment (+51.5%), and furniture (+26.9%).

However, in the new economic realities, not all enterprises were able to function stably. Measures are being developed for them to overcome the crisis and further development.
