

The index of industrial production in Bashkiria for the first nine months of 2022 amounted to 103.1 percent, once again exceeding the Russian average. This was announced at the government operational meeting by the Head of the Region Radiy Khabirov.
“This is good news amid sanctions pressure. I wanted to thank the heads of all our enterprises. Let's see how we finish the year. The progress of development is positive, we should not stop under any circumstances,” Radiy Khabirov stressed.
As Bashinform previously reported, in Russia as a whole, the industrial production index for January-September this year increased by 0.4 percent compared to the same period in 2021.
According to Bashkortostan Statistics Agency, three sectors of industrial production showed positive dynamics in the country: extractive industries - an increase of 22.5 percent, manufacturing - by 0.6 percent, heat and power industry - by 1 percent. On the contrary, there was a decrease of 3 percent in water supply, sanitation, and MSW disposal.
