Russian regions will additionally receive over 58.5 billion rubles to support the territorial funds for compulsory medical insurance. The order was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. According to published data, the amount of additional financial resources allocated for Bashkiria will amount to 1.43 billion rubles.
The funds were allocated from the reserve fund of the Cabinet of Ministers and will go to 85 regions. The decision is made because according to the forecast of the Ministry of Economic Development, the average monthly salary in Russia will increase by more than 11.5% during the year. Additional funding was required for the salary of doctors to grow and correspond to the level determined by the president.
According to the decree of the President of the Russian Federation "On measures to implement state social policy", the salary of paramedics and nurses cannot be lower than the average for the region, and doctors must receive at least twice this indicator.
The issue was discussed at a meeting of the government of the Russian Federation on October 26. One of the government's priorities is to ensure decent wages for people who save lives and health, Mikhail Mishustin noted. “It is important that our doctors and other staff of hospitals and polyclinics receive the due funds on time and in full. I ask you to monitor this in every Russian subject carefully,” the head of the Cabinet said.
