New industry and agriculture projects approved at Investment Hour session

The Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov held a regular thematic meeting in the Investment Hour session on October 20. It considered new initiatives in the field of industry and agriculture.

Nikolai Onatsky, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bashkirsky Kholod Company, spoke about the construction of a new factory in Ufa based on the Bashkir Ice Cream enterprise. Earlier in April 2020, the Investment Committee of the Republic approved this initiative with a total investment of 2 billion rubles.

Ildus Khalitov, General Director of the Ashkadarsky agricultural enterprise, presented a project for the development of a livestock complex. We are talking about the construction of new technological facilities in the Meleuzovsky district and an increase in the breeding stock of cows. The total amount of investments is 765.5 million rubles.

As a result of the discussion, the project was given priority status. As a support measure, the republic compensates part of the costs for the purchase of agricultural machinery and equipment.

The project of an automated plant for the production of corrugated packaging in the Ufa region was presented by Denis Kotkin, General Director of Dobry Karton.

Investments in the creation of a plant with a capacity of 70 million tons of cardboard per year will amount to 280 million rubles. It plans to create 50 new jobs.

The MadyArt group of companies is implementing a project to modernize two sewing enterprises, Femina and Fortuna, which produce a wide range of adult and children's clothing. Production shops are located in Ufa, Birsk, and Salavat.

The enterprises plan to implement the second stage of the investment project by the end of 2024.
