Iranian trading house "Tehran" will appear in Bashkiria

Bashpotrebsoyuz and an Iranian enterprise signed an agreement to the establishment of a trading house, the republican Trade and Services Ministry press service reported.

A delegation of Bashkiria led by the Minister of Trade and Services is now on an official visit to Iran.

During the negotiations, an agreement was signed on the establishment of a joint venture "Ufa-Tehran Trading House", the main task of which will be the organization of food supplies between the two republics.

“We are exploring the possibility of cooperation in terms of the supply of products manufactured in the territories of Bashkiria and Iran. As a result, we signed an agreement on the creation of trading houses in Ufa and Tehran. They will become a link for our companies in the markets of Bashkiria and Iran,” Alexey Gusev explained, noting that the joint venture will allow republican producers to enter the Iranian market with minimal risks.

In turn, the Iranian side is interested in opening a similar representative office in Bashkiria. Including the advantageous geographical location of the republic. The trading house can act as a logistics center for further deliveries to other regions of Russia.

“I am convinced that this will become an additional incentive for long-term mutually beneficial cooperation between the business communities of our republics,” added Aleksey Gusev.
