Bashkortostan Prime Minister Andrey Nazarov said that assistance in the modernization of infrastructure will become an important factor in the stability and development of the economy of our republic.
“Here, first of all, I mean multimodal logistics hubs. We are working on this topic with our Kazakhstani partners, we plan to involve the Eurasian Development Bank. Now we are forming the financial model of the first investment project in the field of agro-logistics within the framework of the Eurasian commodity distribution network. The transport infrastructure is also extremely important for exports. Here we are working on projects for the construction of railway lines "Sibay - Podolsk - Novorudnoye" and "Ufa - Agidel". The first will reduce the export transportation ways to Kazakhstan by 250 km. The second is focused on the development of a cargo port in Agidel city with the subsequent creation of a port-type special economic zone. This project opens access to five seas: the Caspian, Black, White, Baltic, and Azov. Possible volumes of transportation of export cargoes are estimated at 4.3 million tons annually with lower logistics costs,” Andrey Nazarov said at the international forum “Made in Russia-2022”, which started today in Moscow.
