Bashkortostan and Iran agreed on mutual products supplies

A business delegation of Bashkortostan has been in the Islamic Republic of Iran since October 16. During the negotiations, agreements were reached on mutual deliveries of products, including the export of flour and pasta and the import of dried fruits, nuts, vegetables, and fruits, the press service of the republic government reported.

- During the meeting at the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, our entrepreneurs presented their companies and talked about their products. B2B meetings were held with more than 100 Iranian companies. The negotiations were productive, - said the Minister of Trade and Services of Bashkortostan Alexei Gusev.

One of its enterprises, producing flour and pasta, agreed to supply products to Iran for 6,000 tons per month.

Dried fruits and nuts will be delivered from Iran to one of the large wholesale markets of Bashkortostan.

An agreement was reached with Iranian entrepreneurs on direct deliveries of fruits and vegetables to a wholesale distribution center planned for construction as part of the Eurasian Agroexpress project.

- This will help to reduce price fluctuations in the consumer market of the republic, - added Alexei Gusev.
