Bashkiria is implementing common projects worth almost 9.5 billion rubles with friendly countries

Bashkiria has intensified its work in the foreign economic area, strengthening ties with reliable partners from friendly countries. Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov announced this on his Telegram channel on October 17.

“Following the results of seven months of 2022, the total foreign trade turnover increased by 31%. At the same time, non-commodity non-energy exports are increasing - for example, its growth amounted to 31% for six months. Investors from Turkey, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan decide to implement their projects in our republic. Today, joint projects totaling almost 9.5 billion rubles are at various stages,” Radiy Khabirov said.

According to him, this is a great merit of the regional foreign economic bloc and representatives of Bashkiria in these countries.

“We plan that by 2024 representatives of Bashkortostan will work in eight states. Now we are working to ensure that they appear in China and Iran - they are strategically important to us. All our efforts are ultimately converted into new jobs, taxes, and incomes of our residents and directly affect the quality of people’s lives. We will continue this work,” the Head of the Region emphasized.
