

Bashkir buckwheat will be sold in Belgium. In total, 20.16 tons of cereals were sent for export.
According to the department of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Republic of Bashkortostan, the specialists of the department organized a laboratory examination of the selected samples. The conducted entomological, herbological, and mycotoxicological studies did not reveal dangerous quarantine organisms in buckwheat groats. Based on the conclusion on the quarantine phytosanitary status of regulated products, the Department issued a phytosanitary certificate.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic, Bashkiria is one of the five leaders in the production of buckwheat in the country.
“As of September 8, the country's agricultural producers have already harvested 230,000 tons of buckwheat, which is 140,000 tons more than the figure for the same date last year. According to forecasts, its gross harvest will exceed the level of 2021 and fully ensure the loading of processing enterprises,” the report says.
In the republic, the yield of buckwheat is 12.9 centners per hectare. As of September 13, 42.5 thousand tons of grain have been harvested from 45% of the area. Most of this crop was harvested in Ilishevsky, Kushnarenkovsky, and Baltachevsky districts, where from 3.5 thousand to 4.8 thousand tons were harvested.
