Head of Bashkortostan met with Belarus delegation

Today the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov met with the delegation of the Republic of Belarus headed by the Chairman of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee Ivan Krupko.

The Head of the Region thanked the delegation of the Gomel region, which arrived in Bashkortostan to participate in the events dedicated to Republic Day and the opening of the monument to Minigali Shaimuratov.

“Relations with the Republic of Belarus are of priority importance for us, we are bound by a common history and traditions. A large delegation arrived, which included representatives of business circles, and we will jointly discuss further ways of cooperation,” said Radiy Khabirov.

Chairman of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee of Belarus Ivan Krupko thanked Radiy Khabirov for the invitation to visit Bashkortostan and congratulated all residents of the region on the upcoming Republic Day.

Radiy Khabirov invited the delegation of the Gomel region to visit the forum of regions of Russia and Belarus, which would be held in Ufa in the summer of 2023.

As part of the meeting, a protocol of intent was signed between the government of Bashkortostan and the Gomel Regional Executive Committee.

Recall that the Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko recently paid a working visit to Bashkortostan, during which the construction of the Amkodor plant had been launched and a MAZ dealership had been opened.

The production of Belarusian agricultural machinery and equipment is localized in Bashkortostan. These are the Minsk Tractor and Motor Plants, Zapagromash, as well as Gomselmash and the Gomel Casting Plant.

Belarus is in 3rd place in the total volume of trade turnover of Bashkortostan with a share of 6.3%.

Foreign trade turnover for January-June 2022 amounted to 135 million US dollars.
