Business activity revives in Bashkiria - Alexander Sheldyaev

Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkiria for Scientific and Technological Development - Minister of Industry, Energy and Innovation Alexander Sheldyaev spoke on social media about participation in a meeting of the commission of the State Council of the Russian Federation, where the strategy and measures to support the industry were discussed.

He noted that the industry is adapting to new conditions. The gloomy forecasts did not come true, the industry's performance by October was not bad, and the manufacturing industry ended 8 months of 2022 with indicators identical to last year. The situation is stable and controlled, which makes it possible to focus on the design support of technological sovereignty. A consolidated strategy for the manufacturing industry will be submitted to the Russian government by the end of the month. During its formation, adjustments will be made for potential risks and new support mechanisms, as well as budgetary constraints.

“We are also seeing a revival of business activity in Bashkortostan. We have almost overcome our dependence on imports, restored logistics, and developed new sales markets. Including with the help of preferential loans from the Federal Development Fund RB and the Russian Federation, republican and federal support measures,” Alexander Sheldyaev posted.

The Minister spoke about how investment projects were being implemented in the republic. Since the beginning of the year, 137 projects have been considered at the Investment Hour sessions, of which 77 were included in the priority list (5 of them are in the industry), and 43 projects were being implemented.

Earlier, Bashinform reported on a wide range of business support measures in Bashkiria. Due to them, 16 thousand of new enterprises have been created in the republic since the beginning of the year.
