"Professionality" program will be extended to small and medium-sized businesses

The "Professionality" project will be extended to small and medium-sized businesses, the official channel of the Russian Government reports.

Now the project trains specialists for large enterprises, but next year the list of industries will be expanded.

It will include areas where small and medium-sized enterprises mainly operate:

  • tourism and services,
  • information and communication technologies,
  • creative industry.

The head of government asked the Ministry of Education to prepare the necessary documents.

“I am sure that SMEs should be directly involved in the formation of customers. It does not require any funds from them. This is participation in the preparation of children, so that small and medium-sized enterprises are ready to invite them,” said Mikhail Mishustin.

In addition, more than 70 million rubles are provided for the financing of educational and production centers in the federal budget for each. It is planned to create 60 educational institutions annually.

Recall that in 2022 Bashkiria passed the competitive selection for the second time as part of the federal project “Professionality”. Bashkiria will receive 300 million rubles for the creation of educational and industrial clusters in the mechanical engineering, chemical, and mining industries.
