Personnel training center was created at UEC-UMPO

A Rostec training center was created several years ago at the UEC-UMPO. They train multiskills specialists, students master several professions at once, including a turner, a milling machine operator, a general machine operator, a CNC machine operator, a machine and manipulator setup man. Students of the Ufa Engineering College and the Aviation College also study there. Along with the diploma, graduates receive a guaranteed job.

“At the end of the course, each of the graduates can fully work with modern equipment, having mastered 4-6 related professions within the same specialty,” Evgeny Semivelichenko, Managing Director of UEC-UMPO said.

Last week, the Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, and the director of the Rostec aviation cluster, Anatoly Serdyukov, visited the production and training center of the corporation. During the visit, the parties agreed that the republic and Rostec would sign an agreement, under which they will be able to increase the number of students from colleges in Bashkiria who will have an internship at the UEC-UMPO. Thus, the region will begin to prepare more professionals for the engineering industry.

“The training and production base is the best in Russia. There is also a machine-tool fleet, and very good, interesting training programs. We need to use it,” Radiy Khabirov said after the meeting.

Since the beginning of the new academic year, 1,000 students have started classes at the center. Of these, 75 are first-year students of the aviation technical school and 400 of the engineering college.

The Ufa Engineering College, together with the UEC-UMPO, trains personnel within the framework of the federal project "Professionality". The educational institution became the first grant recipient in the amount of 100 million rubles. Another 114 million were allocated from the regional budget, 30 million came from the enterprise.

Five modern laboratories have been created within the walls of the plant over the past few years, where students can master turning and milling, multi-axis machining on CNC machines, industrial mechanics and installation, and welding technologies.

The college project was presented as part of the first international congress "Transport and Construction" in Ufa. The Minister of Education of Bashkiria, Aibulat Khazhin, noted that the main task of secondary specialized educational institutions today was to train qualified personnel in precisely such a symbiosis.
