Non-commodity non-energy exports of Bashkiria increased by 31% in January-July

In the first half of 2022, the volume of exports of non-commodity non-energy goods of enterprises of Bashkiria increased by 31.1% compared to January-July 2021 and amounted to 66.4% of the total exports of the region. The Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations RB reported this. In the first half of the year, about 95% of enterprises from the total number of exporters of non-primary non-energy goods continued to operate.

As explained by the department, the growth in the volume of non-commodity non-energy exports was achieved due to the created infrastructure to support export-oriented companies. Work with enterprises to enhance export activities is also carried out at the municipal level through the established institute of business sheriffs. After the introduction of sanctions in the republic, an Anti-Crisis Headquarters was created to support and ensure the stability of the region's economy in terms of exports.

Together with enterprises, unique measures have been developed to support not only exporters but also importers. This is subsidizing the costs of research and development work, adapting products to foreign markets, purchasing imported raw materials, spare parts, and equipment that is critical to ensure the stability of the enterprise, consulting services for the search for raw materials, spare parts, and equipment, as well as costs related to the storage of goods in seaports and logistics hubs abroad and in Russia.

Non-commodity non-energy goods, for example, include products of agriculture, chemistry, metallurgy, engineering; fertilizers, non-ferrous and precious metals; clothes and shoes.
