724 million rubles were allocated to finance comfortable urban environment projects in Bashkiria

724 million rubles were allocated to finance projects to create a comfortable urban environment in Bashkiria. The Acting Minister of Housing and Public Utilities of Bashkiria Irina Golovanova said about this at the weekly briefing session of the government in the Center of Republic Management of Bashkortostan.

According to her, 8 competitive projects were among the winners of the All-Russian contest of the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment last year.

“Last year, 520 million rubles were allocated from the federal budget for their implementation, this year an additional 204 million rubles were received from the country's reserve fund. Works under municipal contracts of the first stage have been completed, the average readiness for the second stage is 68%. The planned completion date for the work is October 30, 2022,” the Minister of Housing and Public Utilities of the region said.

These are projects for the construction of public space in Baymak, in Davlekanovo, a city park of culture and recreation in Beloretsk "Step Beyond the Horizon", on the embankment in Uchaly, the development of a historical center in Blagoveshchensk, a culture park in Sibay and two projects in the villages of Zilair and Voskresenskoye.

The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, instructed to complete the works on the improvement of the territories on time and begin working on new facilities.

Recall that this year four cities of Bashkortostan became the winners of the VI All-Russian competition of the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment. Thus, Ishimbay will receive 95 million rubles for the improvement of the city's central park, in Yanaul 85 million for winning the competition will be directed to the creation of new active zones in the city center. The project "Revival of the Old River Apaish" in the city of Agidel will get 70 million rubles, and Dyurtyuli's "River Gates of Bashkortostan" project  - 85 million. A total of 4 cities will receive 335 million rubles of federal money.

Since 2019, 17 cities and 3 historical settlements from Bashkiria have won this federal competition. This made it possible to attract more than 1.8 billion rubles of federal funds to the republic and most importantly - to create really comfortable areas that are of interest to the townspeople and tourists themselves.
