The Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkortostan and the Minsk Tractor Plant have agreed on large-scale cooperation. The corresponding agreement was signed on September 21 during a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB - Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus Sergey Fedchenko, and General Director of the Minsk Tractor Plant Vitaly Vovk.
“The document provides for the provision of agricultural machinery, spare parts and services to organizations of the agro-industrial complex of the republic. In particular, it is planned to supply at least 200 units of Belarus equipment in 2023 through the plant’s dealers in the republic,” said Ilshat Fazrakhmanov. “Today, agricultural equipment is in demand by Bashkir farmers, popular models of wheeled tractors from this manufacturer occupy 53% of the entire tractor fleet in the agro-industrial complex of the region. Therefore, we are interested in full-scale cooperation.”
It is planned that the Belarusian side will organize pre-sale, and after-sales services, as well as spare parts warehouses in dealerships.
Ilshat Fazrakhmanov discussed issues of cooperation in the field of agriculture with the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus Sergey Fedchenko. This is also the supply of livestock equipment, cooperation in the field of seed production, and the supply of biofertilizers. Separately, the issue of organizing a joint assembly of modern caterpillar tractors was discussed, according to the website of the regional government.
