More than 4.6 million tons of grain were harvested in Bashkiria

Gross grain threshing in Bashkortostan amounted to 4 million 611 thousand tons with an average yield of 2930 kg per hectare. Deputy Prime Minister of the Government - Minister of Agriculture RB Ilshat Fazrakhmanov at a weekly operational meeting at the Republic Management Center noted that the harvesting of grain and leguminous crops is nearing completion. To date, 91% of the area has been mowed, and about 90% has been threshed, which is 1 million 592 thousand hectares.

“More than 160 thousand tons have been threshed in Sterlitamaksky, Ilishevsky, Chekmagushevsky, Meleuzovsky, Aurgazinsky, Davlekanovsky, and Khaibullinsky districts. The harvesting of oilseeds (rapeseed, mustard, soybeans, and flax) continues. As of today, more than 13% of the plan has been threshed, and about 80 thousand tons, with an average yield of 1260 kg per hectare. Sunflower harvesting has begun in Kushnarenkovsky and Khaibullinsky districts,” said Ilshat Fazrakhmanov.

Sugar beet harvesting has begun in almost all districts (out of 19 beet growing districts, harvesting has begun in 14). To date, about 10 thousand hectares (22%) have been harvested, 190 thousand tons of root crops have been collected, more than 95 thousand tons have been exported, and the average yield is 26700 kg per hectare.

Two plants processed 97 thousand tons of root crops and produced about 13 thousand tons of sugar.
