Today, the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov took part in the opening of the Tourist Information Center (TIC) in the Ufa Gostiny Dvor.
At such information service points, tourists can get a tourist map for free, learn about sights, hotels, interesting routes, food facilities, what can be seen during the trip, and other useful and relevant information. In Ufa, visitors are welcomed by centers in Sipailovo, on the embankment of the Belaya River near the monument to Salavat Yulaev, on the pier near the Friendship Monument and on the territory of Gostiny Dvor.
According to the Minister of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of the Republic Rustem Afzalov, the emergence of such centers is another step in the development of the tourism industry in Bashkortostan. The republic is leading it consistently and systematically, putting it on the right track.
Recall that on August 10, a strategy for the development of tourism in Bashkortostan until 2035 was approved. This year, Bashkortostan has become one of the leading regions in terms of federal support. The republic will receive 336 million rubles from Rostourism for development next year, including the purchase of equipment for information centers.
According to Sberanalytics, in 2021 the tourist flow to Bashkortostan exceeded the level of 2020 and amounted to 3.5 million people. The total costs of tourists in the republic amounted to 13.0 billion rubles in 2021.
In 2021, Bashkortostan became the leader, hit the Top 30 in terms of sanatorium holidays among non-resort regions of Russia in terms of the number of vouchers sold to sanatoriums. In second place is the Republic of Tatarstan, in third place is the Moscow Region.
