16 thousand new enterprises have been created in Bashkiria due to business support

Entrepreneurs of Bashkiria have access to a wide range of support measures, in particular, business development institutions provide loans, leasing, and guarantees on favorable terms. Thanks to this, the number of small and medium-sized businesses in the republic is growing. Andrey Nazarov, Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkiria, spoke about this on his telegram channel.

Thus, since the beginning of the year, 216 borrowers have been issued loans through the Microcredit Company for Small Business RB for 313.1 million rubles. Regional Leasing Company provided support to 40 businessmen for 396.6 million rubles. The Agency for the Development of SMEs RB provided 140 guarantees for more than 1 billion rubles.

In addition, the Russian government has amended the concessional business lending program and now small and micro-enterprises will be able to take loans at 4.5% per annum, and medium - at 3%. The funds can be used to purchase equipment, overhaul of premises, and launch new products. Enterprises of Bashkiria can apply for state support to any accredited bank. In addition to this, subsidies for cost recovery are provided for SME businesses in the republic in 8 areas. Entrepreneurs can reimburse up to 50% of the costs of renting a building, a land plot, utility bills, connecting to engineering infrastructure, purchasing raw materials and materials, paying an initial payment and leasing payments under a leasing agreement, interest rates on loans, etc.

As a result, in Bashkortostan, the number of small and medium-sized businesses increased by 2.5 thousand compared to August last year and amounted to almost 123 thousand. Since the beginning of the year, more than 16 thousand new enterprises have been created.

“Despite external pressure, we manage to show positive trend due to the timely taken anti-crisis measures,” Andrey Nazarov noted.
