In 2022, 10 billion rubles are provided in the federal budget to reimburse part of the costs of farmers for the production and sale of grain crops. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed orders on the distribution of these funds among the regions. The money will be used both to compensate for the costs incurred in the production of grain and to advance such work for the autumn sowing campaign.
For compensation payments to grain producers from Bashkiria in 2022, 558.8 million rubles are allocated, and in 2023 - 595.4 million rubles. In just two years, the agrarians of the republic will receive 1 billion 154 million rubles of federal subsidies.
Earlier, the country's government decided on the possibility of advancing part of the costs for the sowing campaign to grain producers. Thus, now farmers can count on support not only at the end of the financial year, after the harvest, but also before sowing, which gives them additional resources to purchase everything they need. Such a measure is a significant part of the systematic work to increase the investment attractiveness of Russian agriculture.
“In a number of regions, the harvesting campaign is coming to an end. Some regions have started sowing winter crops, and agribusiness must have the necessary funds to carry out these and other autumn agricultural works in a timely manner,” Mikhail Mishustin said at a meeting of the presidium of the government commission on improving the stability of the Russian economy under sanctions.
In 2023, the federal budget also provides 10 billion rubles to finance part of the farmer’s costs for the production and sale of grain crops.
