Unemployment rates remain at the same level in the republic as before the introduction of anti-Russian sanctions. The situation in the labor market of Bashkiria is stable, Yuri Melnikov, Deputy Minister of Family, Labor and Social Protection of the Population, said at a press conference in the Bashinform News Agency.
According to the agency, almost 20.5 thousand unemployed are now registered in the region. This is almost 2.5 thousand lower than in the same period in 2021. Most often, office workers are looking for a new job.
“About 65% of the unemployed are representatives of the so-called “white-collar workers,” said Yury Melnikov.
