The regional Ministry of Labor has developed a program to save jobs in the face of sanctions pressure. Together with the federal department, 2 billion rubles were attracted to Bashkiria to help enterprises that find themselves in a difficult situation.
As of July 22, the republic recorded the largest number of employees at risk of layoffs. Almost 20 thousand people could be left without work. Within a month, the figure was reduced by 5,000. As Yury Melnikov, a representative of the regional Ministry of Labor, explained at a press conference in Bashinform News Agency, the situation has developed in this way due to anti-Russian sanctions.
“The situation is explained by the gap in technological and logistics chains in organizations. The need for time to restore them to go through the processes of import substitution,” the Deputy Minister of Family, Labor and Social Protection of the Population explained.
