Sunflower, rapeseed, flax and mustard harvesting started in Bashkiria

Grain growers of Bashkiria threshed 766 thousand tons of grain in a week. The leaders in the threshing of grain and leguminous crops are Sterlitamaksky, Ilishevsky, Aurgazinsky, Davlekanovsky, Karmaskalinsky and Chekmagushevsky districts, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture of Bashkortostan Ilshat Fazrakhmanov said at a weekly operational meeting at the Republic Management Center. According to him, the harvesting of winter crops is nearing completion. To date, about 240 thousand hectares have been threshed (88%, including camelina).

Individual farms have started harvesting rapeseed, flax and mustard, and more than 9,000 tons of these grains have been harvested.

Pea harvesting is nearing completion, 46 thousand hectares have been threshed (92% of the plan), 129 thousand tons have been threshed, which is 2.5 times higher than last year. Farms in 11 districts have begun harvesting buckwheat. Gafurysky district has started sunflower harvesting. In general, threshing reached 55 thousand hectares per day. In parallel, the farms of 41 districts of the republic started sowing winter crops

Harvesting of rough and succulent fodder is coming to an end, more than 82% of the need has been harvested by farmers. About 800 thousand tons of hay or 109% of the plan were prepared. More than 1 million 522 thousand tons of haylage was harvested - 113% of the plan.
