

The foreign trade turnover of Bashkiria for the first half of 2022 increased by 19%, and the volume of exports - by 25% compared to the last year.
The minister of foreign economic relations and congress activities of the region Margarita Bolycheva spoke about this during a briefing session of the government of the republic in the Center of the Republic Management.
“Growth was shown by food products and agricultural raw materials (by 59.3%), chemical products and rubber (79.7%), textiles and footwear (48.2%), fuel and energy products (15.5%), mineral products (14.7%), as well as raw hides, furs and products from them, the turnover of which increased by 4.7 times,” said Margarita Bolycheva.
At the same time, a decrease in the volume of trade is observed in wood and pulp and paper products (by 7%), metals (3%), machinery, equipment and vehicles (4.8%).
As the head of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Congress Activities RB added, the top 10 export counterparties of Bashkiria today include China, Kazakhstan, Latvia, the Netherlands, Belarus, India, Turkey, Finland, Poland and Uzbekistan.
