The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, posted on his social media that in the past few years the republic had consistently been among the largest suppliers of products for the country's defense complex.
Several enterprises of the republic, including UEC-UMPO, KumAPP, the companies Vityaz, Polygon, MEGI, are participating in the Army-2022 military-technical forum, which began its work in the Moscow region.
“We actively support strategic enterprises, we work closely with many of them in terms of import substitution, diversification of production, and increase in the portfolio of orders. As a result, new jobs are being created, cooperation ties with other manufacturers are developing, and the competitiveness of our industry is increasing. Besides, we will certainly continue this work. It is important that experts from Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America take part in Army-2022. This once again proves that Russia, despite sanctions from a number of states, retains its presence on the world stage. Many people share our political views,” Radiy Khabirov said.
