Bashkortostan Investment Committee was presented in Moscow region as best practice

At the interregional forum on the implementation of the regional investment standard held in the Moscow Region, the Investment Committee of Bashkortostan was presented as the best practice of the republic, recognized at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum-2022 (SPIEF-2022).

Since this work is coordinated and controlled by the Head of the Republic, all elements of the system work as a single well-coordinated mechanism, which allows the investor to confidently decide on investing in the development of the region. As a result, over three years, the republic increased investments by more than 30%, which is more than three times higher than the national average (Bashkortostan - 31.3%, in the Russian Federation on average - 9.4%).

The Investment Committee has already considered more than 200 issues on improving investment legislation, reducing the investment cycle, eliminating administrative barriers, and the main directions of the investment development of the republic - the implementation of public-private partnership mechanisms, attracting investment budget loans, and others. This work of the committee received the highest rating according to the results of the investment climate national rating - 2022 - according to the indicator "quality of the investment legislation of the region" Bashkortostan was in the top group.
