Today our grain growers harvested first million tons of grain - Radiy Khabirov

Radiy Khabirov on his social media said that the grain growers of Bashkortostan had harvested the first million tons of grain, although less than a fifth of all fields had been threshed so far.

The Head of the Region noted that the year turned out to be productive, and not only in the traditionally grain-growing areas, but also in the Trans-Urals and the northern forest-steppe.

“The main thing for us is to collect this wealth now. The weather is still suitable for this, although there are some peculiarities. Due to the large difference between day and night temperatures, and abundant dew falls, it does not allow our villagers to go out to the fields early in the morning, as they are used to. Most of the work is done during the daytime. More than 100,000 tons of grain were threshed in the Sterlitamak region and about 70,000 tons in the Ilishevsky region. Sterlitamak farms also show better yields - more than 47 centners of grain are harvested from each hectare,” Radiy Khabirov wrote and wished everyone good luck and a good week.
