Bashkiria exported 8.6 tons of powdered milk to China

19.2 thousand cans of powdered milk, a total of 8.6 tons, were shipped to China by the Meleuzovsky Milk Canning Plant. The Head of Bashkortostan wrote on his social media that to a great extent it became possible due to the republican support measures.

“Meleuzovsky Plant is a member of our Investment Hour meetings. We supported the project to create the production of infant milk formulas and dry milk base. The project was included in the list of priorities, the company will receive subsidies to reimburse part of the cost of purchasing equipment, as well as tax benefits. The project is large, and the volume of investments will amount to 1.5 billion rubles. As a result, 8.5 thousand tons of dry whole and 1 thousand tons of skimmed milk powder for baby food, as well as 1.3 thousand tons of butter per year will be produced here,” Radiy Khabirov explained.

Butter, cheese, and cottage cheese are produced at the Meleuzovsky dairy plant, which dates back to 1940. At the request of consumers, the enterprise certified the products by the requirements of Halal and Kosher standards.
