Bashkiria grain and its products are delivered to 14 Russian regions

Since the beginning of 2022, the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Republic of Bashkortostan has issued 2,357 quarantine certificates for 79,584 tons of grain and its products shipped by enterprises to other regions of the Russian Federation.

Agricultural products were purchased in Bashkortostan by contractors from 14 regions of Russia, the department specified.

These are mainly sunflower seeds for processing - 33.33 thousand tons, wheat - 24.02 thousand tons, rye - 11.7 thousand tons, barley - 2.56 thousand tons, buckwheat - 1.17 thousand tons, rapeseed - 0.71 thousand tons, flax, meal, cereals, as well as flour.

All regulated products have been tested in the Bashkir Testing Laboratory of the Federal State Budgetary Institution TsNMVL. According to the results of phytosanitary examinations, no quarantine organisms were identified, and the shipped products were found to be free from quarantine and meet the requirements of the Customs Union.

As noted by the department, the reduction in grain sales occurred by more than three times: for the same period in 2021, the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor RB issued 4,377 quarantine certificates for 244,817 tons of grain and products of its processing for sale in 15 regions of the country.
